The Studienförderfonds Siegen - founded on the initiative and with the support of the Rectorate of the University of Siegen - supports outstanding students in their professional and personal development.
Since then, in 11 award rounds, around 710 scholarships have been awarded to young students at the University of Siegen, thanks to the unique support of numerous sponsors. We want to continue this success story.
Our goal is to create a scholarship culture in the region to promote young and motivated talents regardless of their parents' income - at the same time, they are to establish direct contact with the regional enterprises already during their studies. aufbauen.

Your Possibilities as a Sponsor
Making it easier for a talented student to study and creating free spaces costs less than expected. From an amount of only 150 euros per month, you can become a scholarship holder. And for every euro from private hands, one comes from a public fund. This creates for each scholarship holder 300 euros a month and allows students to concentrate on their studies. Together with you we have the possibility to grant our students a scholarship of 300, - Euros per month for at least 2 semesters. In order to enable a scholarship for one year, you need 1.800 Euros.
You as a Sponsor
- You can get to know the students you are sponsoring personally
- You will be invited to the formal scholarship award, during which you can engage in an exchange with the person you sponsored
- If desired, we name you or your company, resp., as a sponsor
- You enable highly talented students to study, regardless of their financial situation.
- You support the consolidation of the university city Siegen and the entire region.
- You can gain the students you sponsor as student assistants or scientific researchers for your company
- You receive a tax-deductible receipt
- You are allowed to display the Deutschlandstipendium logo in your communication
